The Trace/Heinemann Disconnect serves for overcurrent protection as well as a disconnect.  The indoor enclosure will handle  up to two large breakers and two smaller (15 to 60A) breakers for array input, and one DC load.  This is the only code, UL approved disconnect for these bigger inverters.

The features offered include:  automatic regulation and operation, only two moving parts, weighs 13 lbs., and can be installed in a few hours.  The exclusive Autobrake ™ regulator automatically slows the blades to a silent spin when your batteries are fully charged.  These units have a three year warranty, and cost only  $539.  The Air X is basically the same machine but quieter --cost is $599.  If you have a minimum of 10 to 12 mph average wind speed, this may be excellent and cost-effective addition to your battery charging set-up.  It will provide 400 watts per hour at speeds of 28 mph, and can provide over 500 watts per hour at higher wind speeds. 

AMPAIR 100 12 or 24V Home Wind Generator
