Note: * indicates that an extra rail set is required -
$200. + indicates that two holes must be drilled in
the module frame to fit the rack.
Balance is imperative to the operation of a tracker; an even number
of photovoltaic modules must be mounted symmetrically on the rack.
Although these Universal racks are designed to hold a maximum number of square feet of PV module, we need to know how many of which brand of module are to be placed on the rack so that we can be sure your modules will fit. We supply the correct amount of hardware, and in some cases the rail length will be adjusted to customize the fit. The UTR 020 and 040 Track Racks are shipped with J-clips for mounting the modules. The F-series Track Racks are either drilled for specific modules or J-clips are supplied.
Installation recommendations: It is the installer's responsibility
to consider the soil conditions and location when setting the pipe. A
general rule of thumb for pole installation is 2/3rds pole length above
ground, 1/3rd pole length below grade, in a hole at least three times
the diameter of the pole, and filled with concrete. Bigger can't
hurt and will provide even more stability. |
